My photos and gesture drawings are different from Kathe's because in her drawings her faces show more expression, value, depth, and spacing. I noticed that she also uses a good balence of texture in her peices as well. Shes shares a considerable amount of personal and political probblems in her peices which is why I think her art captures people's interest. My drawings don't contain as much expression and emotion that Kathe created. Shes more skilled with real life while I am more of an abstract artist. I use color to express my optimism in my work. Kathe used pencil and worked more with black and white.
HOW DO I DEFINE SOMEONE AS EXPRESSIVE? :
I define someone being expressive when they show a great amount of clear emotion. There are many ways to show expression. Art is great way. Alot of artists can show how they feel by putting certain colors together. Black and grey ususally represent sorrow in an art peice. Anything showing emotion.
