Why do I want to be an art teacher?
Ever since I can remember I have loved creating artwork. It brings me peace and its my own talent. I also love working with children. Comming from a big family I have had the blessings of looking after my little cousins and I think that its fun when you can teach younger kids new things. Its refreshing to see young optimism and the look on a childs face when they finally learn something new.
Why is this important to me?
Because I want to make a difference in a childs life. I want to be a positive role model and bring happiness to a classroom. There are always going to be those bad teachers or good teachers everyone remembers no matter what and I want to be one of the good teachers.
Goals?
My goals are to keep getting good grades and improve my GPA. I want to graduate with my BFA and maybe a degree in teaching as well.
What am I going to do after graduation?
Im going to move to a big city and try to look for teaching jobs while finding my own place to live. I would also like to paint more and try to get my artwork in other galleries.
